The alarm went off at 615 and I was so tempted to turn it off and just lay there. I don’t have many more mornings of “sleepin’ in”. I thought, it really won’t matter if I do bc I have volleyball practice tomorrow morning. I pushed those thoughts aside and I got out of bed and got ready. I only had a goal of walking a few times around the park and be done. Once I got to the park and started my playlist, I was pumped and on my way. I just kept going and even ran some of it. The sun was brightly shining and it was quite warm out but I did it. I was so proud of myself. Most summers I prepare myself for volleyball practices in advance, but I didn’t this summer. This was a great way to start my day and I am so thankful I did. Gotta get this almost 50 year old body back in shape.
