Happy Sunday! I know it’s been a minute. Ima try to catch y’all up. This past week was super busy gettin’ ready for the new school year. There are not enough hours in the day, it seems.

I did play pickle ball for the first time last week and absolutely loved it! After our volleyball practice, the gym we practice in hosts pickle ball for anyone that wants to play, for 2 hours. I don’t have the scoring exactly down yet but I loved playing. I am hoping I have time to try this week too. Once volleyball games start, we won’t be able to go for a while.

Younger one has had football practice 630am-830am, so I have been gettin up earlier than usual. He loves it so that makes it all worthwhile. Speaking of the younger, he got his permit this week-how in the world is he old enough for that? Goodness, it is so true, the days are long and the years are short, for sure! We ended the week with our Back 2 School Bash. It was loads of fun but hot as all get out. This is gonna be a fantastic year!

I used this weekend as a kind of recharge. Saturday, I didn’t leave the house and stayed in my pajamas all day. I caught up on some shows and did some laundry and mopped some floors but didn’t HAVE to do anything. It was great.
