We have some dear family-friends from Stigler that one of them is about to be married and one is about to be a first-time mom. We won’t be able to attend Zane’s wedding, so we decided to go to his wedding shower. It was Sunday after morning worship. There was no way we could make it on time if we went to our services and then left, so we just got up and went to worship with them in Checotah. It was so good to see everyone. Life happens but we are always just able to pick up where we left off. Memaw is 84 now and still as spry as ever. Jan’s cancer is in remission and looks great. Rach is married and about to have her first baby boy. Zane is getting married and Sadie just graduated from pharmacy school and leaving Monday for Mexico. It was such a good day. I can’t say enough how seeing them was good for me…knowing they are good.
