This was such a nice weekend. As I am posting, I realize I didn’t take put a couple photos as we went about. But, that is okay because I wanted to be present and in all the moments. I worked Friday but Friday night had nothing to do and that was so nice. Our dear friends, the Funderburks, cam for a spell and some coffee as G had gone to supper with them after practice and they were bringing him home. It is always a nice visit with them.

I had signed up for a card class Saturday morning, so I got up and went to that. That was lots of fun. I really enjoy making those cards and spending time with some people I don’t get to see very often…even though not everyone was there that was gonna be.

Saturday night, we went to the Kropog’s and had supper and homemade ice cream. It has been a long time since we have been able to spend any time with them so it was good to be together. We played Ticket to Ride and the kiddos stayed in the pool and then went to the park for some disc golf. A great time was had by all!

Today is church day! I started teaching again today and that is always a fun time. The hubs had singing this morning and I love it when he leads. Closing song was Purer in Heart, help me to be. I have pondered on that this afternoon and I am making it my mission this week to be purer in heart…with my thoughts and actions towards others. I should practice this daily but get caught up in life and fail often. So, I am praying that I find it in me to have the spark to be purer in heart this week.
