Today, after lunch, a group of us visited a local assisted living where one of our members is now. We gathered and starting singing hymns and sang for right at an hour and a half. It was so awesome to watch some of the residents sing along with us. I talked to one of the
Boy, y’all! I am tired today. I feel like I can’t catch up with my sleep. Anyway, this was such a good week. They just keep flyin’ by. We lost and won some VB games. We won our Friday night football game. We celebrated birthdays, sweated a ton but most of all enjoyed each others
How our days are few and far between that all 4 of us are home at the same time. I delight in those days. The boys(well 2 of ’em) got up this morning and went to the drivin’ range. The other stayed in bed :). I got a lot done this morning…my devotional, my conditioning
Another homecoming in the books…it was sooooo hot but such a fun week. The participation was beyond expectation. Monday=summer vibes day Tuesday=No rhyme or reason day Wednesday=Fav sports team day Thursday=HOCO red, white and blue day
The first week is in the books. It went by super fast. My week was busy but good. Monday night was the back to school bash. A local orthodontist offered to host the evening. It was very well attended and lots of fun. The rest of the week was full of work, volleyball and life.
We chose to travel to Amarillo this trip and had such a good time. Everyone keeps asking why we chose Amarillo…we say, why not? We haven’t spent any time there before and it is not too far from home. We ate some awesome food, shopped in some cool and not-so-cool stores, binged Your Honor, ventured
Volleyball conditioning started today. Oh! My! I thought I was in some okay-ish shape but nah. I! AM! NOT! I maintained but it was not easy. I am really excited for this upcoming season and pray it is a good one. I am very proud of the girls that showed up today. Our school verse
The case was dismissed and he is able to come home. We all missed The Hubs so much. We were so excited he got to come home early. So much so we celebrated at Meiji. This time instead of eating on the sushi side, we went for the Hibachi side and it did not disappoint!

Well, we knew it had to come to a close. We have had the best time. We have been somewhat unplugged (for us). We have slowed down. We have eaten some fantastic food. We’ve done some shoppin’. We have just enjoyed each other. Our trek home had to start early because the boys are at
