Estate sale(s)

This afternoon, a friend and I ventured out to an estate sale. We had spoken about it Friday evening and she said she would go with me if I wanted to go. It was one put on by Junk Hippy, so of course I wanted to go. We just had to make sure we had enough time bc it was about 40 minutes away. The thing about waiting until Sunday is, most of the good stuff is gone BUT, it is usually 1/2 price day, which to me is spot on. This one had some things left that I looked at and thought about but nothing I couldn’t live without. My friend found nothing she couldn’t live without either. So, we got in the car and I thought, heading home. But, she looked to see if there were any other sales in the area. Low and behold, there were. We stopped at 2 more homes. Together we spent a whoppin’ $6.50 between the 2 of us. I bought a cork board for my son, some pillowcases(they had me at paisley) and a glass jar(to use as a gift container). My friend found the cutest vintage items for her daughter, that is expecting their first grandchild. That card unfolds several times and has the cutest pictures. It! Is! Adorable! She also scored a wall map for her other daughter that collects them. It was slim pickins today but that is okay. We got to laugh and talk uninterrupted. Hopefully, we will be able to do this again soon.
